Our Kindergarten Classroom

Our Kindergarten classroom was inaugurated last year in 1998 .What used to be a storage room with lots of old equipment and school materials, infested with rats and roaches was converted into this beautiful kindergarten classroom. A group of people, amoung these our school principal, Mrs Luz A. Rodriguez, parents and various teachers helped make this a reality.
This classroom has lots of new equipment. It has new tables, chairs, a color TV with video. It also has equipment for its kitchen area ( refrrigerator, sink, stove, and closet.). The bedroom area also has equipment ( night table,mirror etc.) there is also a tub and matress.We also have slides and monkey bars for our private outside area. Kindergarten has a computer "Kidware" and uses a program called "Edicinco".This program teaches children to count from one to ten, read words with all the letters of the alphabet, recognize many animals and learn about their habitat. With this program they also learn about geometric figueres, they draw and color and many other things. This classroom has a storage room a bathroom and shower, two airconditioners and a very large room area for children to feel comfortable and learn.
