Science Fair February 8-12 ,1999

This science fair was celebrated at classroom level. Fifth and sixth grade students participated in this science fair.

The purpose of this science fair is to:

Stimulate interest in scientific investigation.

Offer an opportunity to students to exhibit their work after having developed his or her investigation.

60 students participated this year

Five of these projects were chosen and awarded prizes. These student's projects will be sent to participate at the district level competition.

1- Carlos Fontanez- Recycling ( Demonstration)

2- Leonel Pimentel- The fire at the Dupont Plaza Hotel (Investigation)

3-Anais Gonzalez- Contamination ( Investigation)

4- Christian Quinones- Recycling (Investigation)

5-Carlos Benitez-AIDS ( Investigation)

All participating students will receive a participation ribbon.
